Ok, so Dale got me a Chihuahua for Valentine's Day. Zoie was born on November 20th, 2007. On February 5th, 2008 she was added to our family at a whole pound. In the first two weeks that we had her, she gained a pound and two ounces. She is still tiny. She now weighs 2 lbs 2 oz. and let me tell you, the love she has for us and us for her is more than words can express. She is so adorable and has brought Dale and I closer together. At times, I think that he loves her more than he says he does.
Never would I think that I would allow a dog to sleep with us, let alone a small one that is a puppy and could mess in the bed. But she was potty trained in two days. Two days. Man is she smart. She even knows how to sit too. The facial expressions she has is priceless. This is how sick it is, I have even joined a Chihuahua meet group that get together once a month so the Chihuahuas and owners can talk about each other.
Funny how something so small can pack so much love and be loved in return. Great things do come in small packages.
Do I need to seek professional help due to my love for my new puppy? Or is there other people out there that feel the same about their pets? Please let me know.
